Raising Angels and Debenhams are working hard to ensure that the use of gift aid will be available on all donations made to charity through the Debenhams wedding gift list service.

Gift Aid provides a great opportunity for charity donors to increase the value of their donations.

If donors are UK taxpayers the charity can reclaim from the Inland Revenue the basic rate tax paid on their gifts, boosting donations by 28%. So a gift of £10 from a donor is worth £12.80 to the charity.

Donors can give any amount of money, large or small, regular or one-off, and the charity can re-claim the tax.  When contracted by a registered charity Raising Angels will undertake the administrative process and forward details to the charities for them to claim Gift Aid.

All we require is a simple declaration saying that the donor wants to use Gift Aid.  A declaration can cover one or more donations and can be made in writing, by e-mail, on-line or orally at the time of your donation.

Using Gift Aid means that Raising Angels Limited will be able to cover all our administrative costs for our fundraising projects, while ensuring that nearly 100% of each donation reaches the nominated charity.

If you have any queries about Gift Aid or how Raising Angels works with Gift Aid donations then please do contact us.

It is our aim to deliver original and effective fundraising services for charities in the most cost effective way.

We intend to fund our projects through a percentage of Gift Aid, ensuring that the charities we work with receive as much as possible of the funds we raise for them.
